Preston Noy

Occupation ~ Journalist
Preston is 25 years old with dark, constantly tousled hair due to his unrest. He has light blue eyes, though they hadn't always been so. Several months ago, Preston was on a business trip to the Eastern district of the city, and planned to stay there for two weeks while working on a large project focusing on the affiliation between North and South Elphistone Walk, or better yet, the lack of. Through his stay, he noticed a change in his appearance. His left iris was slowly beginning to shift to a light red, each day progressing more and more so. It was bizarre. He'd never seen anything quite like it before and couldn't put a reason to why it happened. Only a few days after he left the East and went back to his home in the South, did his eye return to normal.
It hasn't completely left his mind, and he still wonders about the strange change, attempting to research the possibilities and reading up on similar reports. It seems most people forget all about their condition within a week or so after stating the problem to doctors. Preston had always been aware of his, and based from what he read on blogs and reports, his discoloration hadn't reached the final stages. He attempts to balance his job as a journalist with his new interest and curiosity for the condition, but the two aren't the cause for his sleepless nights. Preston suffers from insomnia, waking up several times in the middle of the night, and then waking up early in the morning, unable to fall back asleep.
Preston is a wily person, full of guile. If trickery is called for him, he will not only think up of a good one, but carry it through to the very end. He's known for avoiding deadlines with his excuses, and hardly anyone has time to follow them through to the very end and wind up letting him off the hook. Though he seems to be an astute person, he also comes across as a shrew business man, only coming for what he needs then leaves.
He is 6'2 with pale skin. Without his glasses, he cannot see things up close as well as he could with them; though, his vision isn't terrible.
He dresses nicely, always ready for the occasion. Though he's been known to take part in many dates in the past, he's never been able to settle down with anyone, nor shows much of an interest in commitment. As of recently, many of his dates have been turned away just from the first dinner or meeting, as he asks them odd personal questions, always overly cautious of new people.

Nadya Hult

Occupation ~ Gambler
Age: 27
Nadya appeared out of no where from the streets, quickly rising to the rank of one of the most notorious gamblers. She sits with the top dogs now. Nobody knows where she came from or what her background is. All they know is that she can hustle you out of your money at the casino. She's got those lucky hands, always rolling the number to win. She's still been known to loose at times, but every great gambler has their fall out when sitting at a table full of professionals. When in game, Nadya is always cool and collected, falling into a stoic and serious persona, but immediately breaks out of it when the game is over, and back into her energetic and loud self. She has a higher, but not necessarily unpleasant voice.
She has brown hair, cut just above her shoulders but usually done up in some sort of bun in the back, where the short layers give off the appearance of her having short hair.
Though the life of a successful gambler may seem like an easy one, it never is. Nadya suffers from downfalls when she gets poor streaks, gaining little to no money for several nights, so she knows she must spend her money resourcefully. She doesn't waste it on an expensive home, though she's been known to the the big bucks loose for drinks and is not one to sacrifice her sense of fashion.
Nadya has defected Mono Chrome eyes, a gene passed down from the Mono Chrome suitor, but the natural mentality and instincts that came with it? Drowned out by the opposing, "normal" genes that come from someone uncolorized. It's a rare defect, but not unheard of. There is no way to reset a link between one with this defect, and they are left with the free ability to see all chroma gazes as any other Mono Chrome could, but without the instinct to erase.

Naseem Husni

Occupation ~ Mechanic
Chroma gaze (Crimson)
Naseem lives within the Crimson's colorized zone. She lives her every day life with the signature red eyes, though it has never affected her in any way. Nobody stares, nobody questions it; it's completely normal and accepted. The Western side of the city is her home, even through the scattered poverty. "Every street has its dark side. It just so happen that the light is shone on ours." Everything she's grown to love in found there, and anywhere else just doesn't feel the same. There's a connection. A hospitality. Though she lives in in the Eastern city, she's been planning her move to the West where she spends most of her time. Her family and friends try to convince her that it isn't the move for her. There are opportunities in the East, hell, even the North hold a brighter future for her. They tell her she doesn't belong in the shallow streets of the West, but she's made up her mind.
Naseem works as a mechanic, most frequently seen toying with machines and gadgets at Aruma Circle. While she's at work, she's at her happiest. When she returns to the East, she feels detached and unwelcomed. She's seen the harsh glances of disgust by the blue eyed group on the street corner. Though she has no clue what it is they are seeing or have against her, she'll have no part of it. She wants to get out as soon as she can.
