[First Generation]
Relations: Lovre- former partner
Taika's been on a rampage ever since the person closest to her, Lovre, was taken away. They were childhood friends back on their home planet before their people were forced to flee and they grew into lovers in time in Taopleco. They were both exemplary Crimsons, prime examples of what everyone in their society should strive to become. Lovre was devoted, willing to sacrifice himself to better his people, a natural leader with as he attracted others to follow his footsteps, and lacked fear. Taika was fierce, had an unquestionable dominant nature that forced those with wavering loyalties into submission, created fear on the front lines when she pushed her way against their rivals with her unyielding force, and knew how to manipulate the natives of Taopleco to forge alliances with the Crimsons. They were viewed as a perfect match for each other and were incredibly close, but their bond was severed when her beloved Lovre was ripped away from her by the Mono Chromes and turned into one of them. She hates them more than just about any other chroma does after what they've taken from her, and she's out for revenge.
Taika can hold a fierce grudge and has plenty of bite to match her bark when she threatens others. She's known for her short temper and ruthlessness, but it was also known that Lovre could ease her out of exploding and calm her down into something that resembled more of a childish pout. When Lovre was around the other Crimson's and their allies didn't have to worry so much about being the victims of her occasional rages, but such is not the case now since the only one that kept her from going off is now one of the enemies. On top of now lacking her pacifier Lovre, she has managed to become even more prone to lashing out at anyone who gives her the slightest reason to, making the Crimson's home almost like a minefield. She doesn't just let her rage from losing Lovre empty out in her home. She directs most of its heat on the battlefield as she helps lead the push to defend and expand the Crimson's turf.
She becomes quite the monster in battle, letting her natural killer instincts and anger drive her form of assault. She often prefers to fight without using weapons other than her own natural claws that are formed of strong Primary's Chiton on her forearms, over her hands, and ending in sharp points past her fingers where fingernails should normally be. Her claws' act as an armor as they can protect against blows to the lower part of her arms and hands with their strength. The underside of her hand is soft flesh however, like normal skin that actually has normal nerves. While her claws are incredibly deadly in battle, they can become inconvenient at times, such as when trying to pull the trigger on certain firearms, texting, or doing arts and crafts. As a child on her home planet she had so much trouble growing accustomed to her destructive claws when it came to learning the Crimsons' culturally important fine arts that she was often made fun of. She wasn't used to her sharp claws and ended up slightly ruining just about anything she did which resulted in her throwing a fit and outright destroying whatever she was working on. Lovre never made fun of her for it though and even as a child he would calm her down. While she struggled with just about every form or art, she managed to find her niche in finger painting. With Lovre's encouragement she grew incredibly skilled at it despite its seemingly infantile view by many and learned to use her fingers and claws to create masterpieces. While she does still sometimes paint, she primarily uses her claws that used to cause her so much grief to rip open her enemies and spill their blood.
When facing individuals she holds a strong grudge towards or just any Mono Chrome, her allies had better stay out of her way. She won't hesitate to take out one of her own if it means she gets the satisfaction of the kill. When it comes to life among her fellow Crimsons she tends to play favorites, even among the tertiaries, giving them quite a bit of her attention if they hold her favor. She favorites certainly aren't permanent however, as if she for some reasons finds some reason to dispose of them or becomes bored of them she will quickly find a new person to toy with and manipulate.
She almost always only wears sleeveless shirts, detesting sleeves for how they feel on her arms and snag on her claws when she tries to fit her arms through them.
