Age: 22
[Scouting Branch] [Fight Club Fighter]
Senri Witcheater is one of the members of Via Relay Chain's Scouting Branch. Though typically considered cynical and aloof, he does his job well. He can work in a team even though he doesn't get close to people. A lot of his coworkers doubt him or detest him, but he proves his worth, and that's all that really matters in the end. Very few people ever try to get close, and sometimes they're rewarded. Senri only lets a few ones in, but even then, he still has this deeper, inner circle that is hidden away that none have ever crossed. It's hard to believe that once upon a time there was a happy-go-lucky kid inside this cold, dead shell. He used to never let anything get him down, but like a stone against rough weather, he was eventually worn down over the years into this. Whatever this is. This person who does not smile, lacks any sense of humor, and refuses to come out of his shell. He does not open up about things. He avoids showing emotions and silently abhors emotional people. He can listen and nod to those who want to spill their guts, but he simply files the information away into some remote corner of his brain without ever taking things to heart, no matter how cruel or devastating one's past or feelings might be.He does not get emotionally attached to things. Occasionally he is seen with animals, but that seems to be the extent of his friendships. People may call themselves his friends, and perhaps they chip away at his shell, but he can drop them like hot potatoes if need be. If there's something really good about Senri, it is his trustworthiness. It could be seen as a bad thing to some. He is a locked chest when it comes to keeping secrets. He would never tell anyone anything about other people. He does not deal in information, so he feels no need to share it. His only job is to fight and kill and serve and protect. So secrets are safe with him. He will take them all to his grave. He also has never broken a promise, and he holds to their fulfillment as rigidly as he holds tight to any secrets he bears. Senri was formed through a life of abandonment and worthlessness. Senri was sold into child slavery when he was four since his parents couldn't afford to keep him anymore. He did manual labor in several factories till the age of thirteen when he was put in one of the Fight Clubs. At age eighteen, he joined up with the Scouting Branch of his own volition, making a deal with the Fight Club owner in order to get a chance to break away fully from their clutches.

Atreus Bujould

Age: 27
[Communication Branch - Law Enforcement]
Black spiky hair, soft to the touch, with hints of light blue in it under certain lighting. All the glossiness of a raven's wing too. His eyes are a gray. A battle-worn, gunmetal, smoky, cloudy, dulled gray with black edges and iron centers. His skin is very pale, giving him a sort of ghostly visage. He is very tall and lean, but everything seems well proportioned. Not lanky by any stretch of the imagination. He has muscle, but its lean, compact, solid. He can hold against bulky, tough men. He weighs nearly nothing, at least to most people. Even some girls have managed to pick him up. He's nimble. Agile. Keeps on his toes. He can move quietly and does so well. Lots of people compare him to shadows and mists when they talk about him, perhaps for the way he moves and how he dresses and his whole grim look, but he really does not like it at all and finds it inaccurate. He has an extraordinary sense of himself, able to do many acrobatic feats most would not dare. He is exceptional at parkour as well, which is very helpful in the field if he needs to pursue someone on foot. He is incredibly fast. Like a bullet. It's hard for any person to keep up with him. Atreus stays quiet and keeps to himself. He won't go out of his way about things unless he really cares about something or someone. As such, he has few acquaintances and fewer friends. He is loyal to the members of his force and will protect them as he is able, but that is the limit of the connection he feels to them. He doesn't have much original thought. He is not a creative or philosophical guy. He does things by the book and refuses adamantly to go outside of it. If the process has been tried and true, then why fight it? He joined a system because he thought it worked, not to rebel. So he does as ordered and completes what is expected of him. Being in law enforcement, he comes across as rather dangerous. One would not want to be on the receiving end of his attacks. He never sees things as gray. It's black or it's white. Mercy is just a weak man's way out of doing his duty in eliminating crime. If there is a perpetrator, it needs to be caught and dealt with. Many times, he will try and engage them just to be able to put them down. He joined a system, but it has become flawed and corrupted in his eyes. Gangs rising. Criminals loose. Of course he feels the need to go beyond certain limits to do what needs to be done. He stays within the laws of course. If he gets them to shoot first or resist, then he is merely reacting to the situation per protocol rather than doing anything wrong. The rest of the force is rather wary of him because of this. He really is a good person, but a lot of people don't see him that way. They see him as this cynical, judgmental, no-nonsense, gun-ho, one-man judge-jury-executioner, and that's all they really ever see him as. But that is all he will really portray, so it's no small wonder that their views of him are limited. Atreus came from a rather broken home, and he can't help but believe it's all his fault. He was the youngest of three brothers, the other two now dead. The middle brother, he accidentally drowned. It was the middle of winter, and he and his brothers were rough housing in a park, when he pushed his brother, and the boy stumbled back onto the frozen lake. The ice broke under him and he went under, never to resurface. They did not find the body till late spring. His parents openly blamed Atreus for it, coming up with dumb reasons and things for why he would do such a thing. His only consolation was his eldest brother, who knew for a fact that it was an accident. His older brother was his only real friend, and they got along very well throughout their childhood and teens. When they were older, they joined the police force together. The eldest died from gunshot wounds while they were breaking up a cartel. Atreus' parents did the whole, "why him and not you?" bit, so he just doesn't see them anymore since the funeral. They wouldn't even let him in to the funeral, which was one of the worst parts of it. He couldn't even really say goodbye properly. He knows now that his parents must have snapped when their first son died, so he does not blame them for their hatred. He just keeps his fingers crossed that maybe one day they will stop this nonsense and welcome him home again. Meantime, he is moving on with his life. But he does miss his mom a lot, and he always sends her things on her birthday and holidays. Currently, he lives alone and stays alone, being the typical lone wolf of the world, but the kind no one ever wonders about. No one knows him and he prefers it that way. He does his job as a part of law enforcement, hangs up his gun, and goes home. He watches TV, reads some books, goes to bed. Wakes up, eats breakfast, works out, then goes to work. And that is his life. Every day. It's monotonous, but it's not over yet, so maybe there is something around the corner that will shake up his world again. Maybe for the better, or maybe for the worst.
